Age Requirements for PMA Long Course
- Intermediate or equivalent (age: 17-22 years three months relaxation).
- Graduate with 4 year program (age: 17-24 years no rest).
- Needs of Army Soldiers (Age: 17-25 years not resting)
- Graduation Program (BS / BA / (HON) / BBA BPA), Graduates (2 year graduation) and serving PN / PAF personnel. (Age: 17-23 years, three months discount).
Eligibility criteria for joining the Pakistan Army Long Course 150 – 2022
Follow the eligibility criteria to join the Pak Army 150 PMA Long Course:
- Pakistan and Azad Kashmir / Gilgit-Baltistan domicile holders can apply for PMA Long Course.
- Only male candidates can apply.
- Candidates who get at least 55% marks in Intermediate (FA / FSC) or equivalent.
- Graduates can apply who have obtained 60% marks or 60% marks with FA / FSC.
- Height should be 5'-4 ″ (162.5 cm) and weight according to body mass index.
- These servicemen can also apply if they have passed FA / FSC or its equivalent with 50% marks.
- The candidate must be physically healthy.
- The candidate must be medically fit.
Note:
- If a TCC candidate applies for the PMA Long Course and has passed the ISSB, regardless of the results, it is also considered a repeater.
- Repeaters should report to the Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS & RCs) for the preliminary examinations between 18-27 May 2022.

(4) Interview with National Security and War Course (NSWC) Brigadier
- Trust and expression
- Knowledge of current affairs
- Outlook as a whole
- Knowledge of Geo and Pakistan Studies
- Extracurricular activities, including sports and hobbies
- Any other aspect deemed appropriate by the panel.
Pakistan Army Selection Process for PMA Long Course 150 – 2022

Registration process
There are two stages to registration. Either register online or visit your nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS and RCs).
Once you have completed the registration process, they will notify you of the schedule of the next entrance test, which will be held at the ASRC of your choice.
Preliminary examination
Preliminary exams include oral, non-verbal and general knowledge. Once you have passed the test, you will be asked for a physical examination.
Physical test
Run 1.6 km in 8 minutes 3 numbers.
Pull ups 3 repetitions 2 in minutes 2 numbers.
Push ups 15 repetitions in minutes 2 numbers.
Repeat 20 in 2 minutes 2 numbers.
Trench crossing 7.4 feet 1 mark
All incidents should be cleared for each candidate. After passing all the physical tests, you will be called for a medical test.
Early medical
Candidates will undergo a preliminary medical examination. If your tests are cleared, you will be issued an ISSB form.

Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB)
Selected candidates will undergo ISSB test where they will be tested mentally and physically for 5 days.
Final Medical
This is the final selection process for candidates who will undergo a final medical examination.
Interview
Candidates will be interviewed on their chosen AS&RC by a qualified Brigadier (perhaps Commander) of National Security and Combat Course.
Each candidate will be given a score out of 20. The following guidelines are provided for conducting the interview.
- Trust and expression.
- Good understanding of Geo and Pakistan Studies.
- It is important to have a good understanding of the current situation.
- Comprehensive perspective.
- Active extracurricular activities, including hobbies and sports.
- Other things that are considered relevant by the panel.
In the final selection, the candidate will be selected on the basis of his performance and merit at the General Headquarters (GHQ).
Candidates will be notified of their selection by email after 5 days.
