Pakistan's Department of Education has announced the 2022 Ramadan school hours in Pakistan Private, Government through a public notification. According to the notification, school hours for Ramadan 2022 will be from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. The holy month of Ramadan is starting from May 06, 2022 and schools will be open during this month.
However, the Punjab government has announced working hours for public schools during Ramadan 2022 and private school hours for students during Ramadan. This decision is being taken by the Department of School Education and will be implemented in all private and government schools in Pakistan.
Due to hot and dry weather and respect for Ramadan, school hours have changed. The rules are the same for primary school, secondary and higher secondary schools and will be enforced by the government.

Boys School Timing: 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 pm
Girls School Timing: 7:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
The government of Pakistan has also announced working hours for private schools in Pakistan during Ramadan. According to the notification, in the holy month of Ramadan, schools will start at 7 am and close at 11 am. However, this is an estimated time because the schools have not been officially announced by the federal government. Public or private schools violating the government decision will be fined.

The Punjab government has ordered to reduce school hours during Ramadan. In Ramadan 2022, the working hours of government schools will be reduced from 6 to 4 hours, similarly during Ramadan 2022, the time of private schools will be from 7 to 11 in the morning.
