Ntel will hold an event on April 5 and launch the 12th Gen Core i9-12900KS CPU on the same day. The new chip enables a maximum turbo frequency of 5.5GHz and it is said that consumers can buy the fastest desktop processor. The chip maker has confirmed the Core i9-12900KS specs and pricing, which will launch on April 5, 2022, at a price of $ 739.
In particular, Intel calls its new flagship CPU "the world's fastest desktop processor".If the chip lives up to Intel's expectations of real-world use, it should be one of the best CPUs.
The Core i9-12900KS will include eight P cores (performance cores) running at 5.2GHz and eight E cores (Efficiency cores) running at 4.0GHz. These figures beat the Intel Core i9-12900K by a small margin. The chip also supports Intel Adaptive Boost technology.
